About the book

Sound art is an intersensory experience that invites us to discover, marvel, sense, see, and hear differently. It combines the composed sounds of everyday life, nature, and the acoustic laboratory with visual object art, creating sounding sculptures and unique auditory spaces. The book “모든 감각으로 : 클랑쿤스트 (With All Senses: Sound Art)” by Art Book Press (Seoul) explores the world and history of sound art within the realms of contemporary art and modern music. It features interviews by Stefan Fricke and Hyunju Oh with artists Arnold Dreyblatt, Christina Kubisch, Bernhard Leitner, and Franz Martin Olbrisch, as well as musicologist and sound art expert Helga de la Motte-Haber. Additionally, Stefan Fricke contributes an essay on the origins of the term “sound art.”
